Buying Uranium ? .
After having spent about 8 hours flying around in space mapping asteroids
and looking for Uranium, and finding none, i did some research on
this forum and found a thread which said that Uranium is nerfed into the ground
and very very rare ... but you can buy it from friendly stations if you find them.

Now.. i had a datapad in my inventory from when i started my survival and it
gave me a location in space for a friendly npc station. I'm now in that station
and the only thing i found that i could really interact with, was an ATM to
withdraw or deposit money. But i havent' found anything resembling a market
where i can buy stuff.

Was i misinformed about this ?. Or did the players just get shafted on
the access to Uranium completely with this update which apparently
removed it from earth and reduced it's overall spawnrate in asteroids to nothing ?.

Thanks for any help in advance.

/Edit : Nevermind, i located the vending machine and ... no Uranium,
and what's worse is the prices.. 40.000 credits for 847 rockets.. ffs.

Look for an another station i would suggest one on earth because those are bound to sell uranium.

While prices are high, you can make good credits selling resources or components.

the contents of the kiosks will update every 30 minutes or so. As long as uranium is capable of being sold in the TYPE of station you are in, then it might get added to the current inventory.

There are Store and Contract blocks that you're intended to look at. They resemble programmable blocks and are supposed to be hard to miss.

If a station sells ore/ingots of any kind, it will eventually sell uranium ore and ingots. What a station sells is determined by the type of faction it's associated with. Only mining factions sell ore/ingots. Other faction types either deal solely with components or will only buy and never sell ore/ingots.

Also, uranium isn't that rare. Mark asteroids with gps coordinates and use a large grid ore detector. You'll find it eventually. (Good luck finding gold though! That one is truly better off found on planets.)

Dont even bother with large grid detectors. They are -almost- worthless (sm grid are worthless). Get any of the various mods that extend ore detector range outright or offer tiered detectors

Installning new mods to the game isn't possible since it's already an ongoing survival
or am i wrong ?. I don't feel like messing with my savegame and possibly break it.

Mods can be added or removed from local games or servers at any time. Removing a mod that added new blocks will just result in those blocks ceasing to exist which can break a grid. But the game itself wont break or care about mod changes.

Just when going into the 'load' menu choose 'edit settings' and reselct mods or advanced settings.

If you UNDERSTAND your mods this is completely safe. If you are unsure then before you 'edit settings' choose 'save as' and duplicate your save then change the mod settings on the duplicate

I have no clue how they work for players. They spawn on the NPC faction stations and work when owned by NPCs. Go to an npc station and use their store/contract kiosks

Finding it on your own is actually not so bad, it took me ~2hrs to find it in my SP game and we found uranium twice in a 4 player MP game (took each time <1h for 1 person). Just keep looking closely at the asteroids, it's there!

Hi, my best Uranium spot is on asteroids at about 30Km around the Moon.

+ I always find Uranium faster when I explore the asteroids around the Moon = :selike:

How to sell your item at your Store (your station) and how to create contracts have been shared by one of the SE Devs > Xocliw < and he shared links to Video Tutos in-game F1.

I recommend to go watch those new videos from Xocliw cause I did not tested that part yet so I don't have a lot of info to share = it is new for all of us.

Thanks. I will try getting to the moon. I've googled and the "standard" distance
is about 150km. I have a mobile base ready to build, just need the 15000 engines parts
first.. but even with 8 refinerys, platinum takes a long time to refine.
