Ejector Size Issues, Need Some Help Please!
Wondering if anyone knows how to work around the issue of the ejector attachment being a small fitting. You can see my screen shot below where I have a Conveyor Sorter which will take in only stone and then exit out through the ejector but upon getting to this part of attaching the ejector on the back of the conveyor sorter it says i can't use this ejector because it is two small and won't attach to the conveyor sorter.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1560521632

Is there a way to make the ejector larger or is there another part I can attach to make the ejector fit. I am a bit confused why there seems to be only a small ejector, I'm I miss something? My game is once again at a stand still, this seems to happen to me all the time while trying to play this game.

I use a large connector to eject on large ships.

The ejector block is for small ships only.

OK so use a connector instead and set it to dunp all, that sounds like it will work seeing the conveyor sorter will only allow stone to pass into it. I have the conveyor sorter set to whitelist Stone. I will try this thanks for your help Dan.

Yes, you should be able to do a cool system by using sorter + connector :approve:

Ok I got through that but now no matter what I do i can't get oxygen in my cockpit.

You can see what I have by looking at my screen shot.

I have sense taken the O2/H2 generator out because i keep taking it apart and trying to get it to work but what I have is from left to right> Cockpit> O2/H2 Gen with Ice > Oxygen Tank and as you can see the 4 lights are all lighted up because they are full. But when i get in the cockpit I have no air. I even put O2 and H2 bottles in the Oxygen tank and they filled up. I went into the menu of both the O2 Gen andthe Oxygen Tank and they are both turned on and I also put tubes on the side going into the main tube system so I can freely move O2 and H2 tanks and ice into the systems as you can see, the green tubes.

there seems to be something I missed with getting the air into the cockpit and I just can't figure it out, this game is really painfull in the sense I spend more time trying to figure things out then I do playing and having fun.

Do you have any idea what I need to do to get oxygen to my cockpit?

I see that cockpit is not connected to the conveyor system (line)

The cockpit you are using is a large block one and the conveyor port is under it so you must add the cockpit on a conveyor block to connect this conveyor to the O2/H2 Generator.

OK so just having the O2/H2 Gen attached to the back of the cockpit isn't going to get air into the cockpit?

No, must add a conveyor under that cockpit to have O2 in.

Just this small ship cockpit got the large conveyor port on the back :

OK thanks Dan, will try to reconfigureand do what your suggesting.

Good, do some testing in a copy of your world set on creative mode to test and this way you don't mess with the original.

That ^^ is what I did ;)

Here a better view of the only cockpit with large port on the back :

I will add this :

Sorter block Tip

- I add the sorter directly on the container access port to Whitelist and Blacklist items that can go in and can't.

- No need of sorter for Uranium cause Nuc. Reactor will take all auto.
(so I use Nuc. Reactors as Uramium containers)

- I will add the sorter on the connector and/or ejector (for small ship) to Whitelist stone and Blacklist all the other items to eject stones only.

OK I got it complete and did what you said and I now have air in the cockpit but now there is something else going on which I don't understand.

Now when I try to fly my drill ship it is standing straight up vertically and I can't get it to fly horizontal the way I built it, see screen shot. All day and I still haven't mined anything. Do you know why It won't fly straight? It's like I am flying with the ship standing in a upwards position. I even tried holding the Alt key and moving the view and it won't let me level the ship out.

The cockpit must be placed in the right position > pointing the front of the ship.

The cockpit "forward" position will give the orientation of the ship and seems not right looking at your last screenshot.

Position the cockpit so you can see the drills in front of it.

The inventory mass is important, too!

> More thrusters on all sides.

> More Gyroscopes.

= will help but testing needed in survival with all containers full to know how much thrusters and Gyroscopes it will need to move (fly) when full load.

____

I will use vertical cockpit on Planet Drills :

Here is a screen shot, I built it by placing cockpit 1st, it is located on the front and is centered, not sure what is happening.

Looks like the cockpit is not in a good position, just enter the cockpit and you will know!

Pubnlish your Drill as a Blueprint on the Workshop and I will fix it for you.
