Can i make my world online?

My and by friends i making a base but every time when i need to go then i need to turn of my computer. Can i make a way to do so my friends allways can join?

Yes. you must rent a server. then you can keep it on all the time.

host a dedicated server on your machine and leave it up and running..

daily restarts a kinda a must, but we do that most of the time anyway.

Trying to run a dedicated server on the same machine you want to play on... is a good recipe for frustration. Things WILL go bad, fast. The server really needs to be a separate machine.

Also, the OP did say that the computer gets shut OFF, so there's no server action happening there.

ive gotten used to working on a budget.. this 10yr old GTX460 has been taking alot of punishment but ive managed to host a few different servers with no issues.. SE, wurm, ark .. a handful of others (not all at teh same time mind you ;o))

granted its not the most optimal solution.. but is easy to set up if you have a lil patience
