Body location?
okay so i have searched around the discussions and noticed that the body location marker should show where you have died...

But the thing is, when i created a new creative mars easy start world, there was a body location marker on an earthlike planet 5000+km away...

When i finally reached earth (and lost my unsaved ship in the process, i know its on earth but not exactly where), i realized that the marker was about 10km in the air and there was nothing there...

Any explanaiton?

The only other thing i can think of is the game bugged out last time you were in a solar system and has remembered a death from a previous save/ game. I'd just ignore/ delete/ die on purposed to get rid of it.

Last known location is what you see when you are dead and too far away.

If your body is moving you will most likely arrive way too late. Your body has moved on.
