How to use the build hologram thing properly?

I saw it on youtube a couple of times and the first question is that what if you accidentaly weld the outside blocks or just the more inside ones arent accesable and the ship wont work out to weld properly. Or is it some mechanism that it welds the insides first?

i would use the show only buildable blocks option(in the projector setup) if u want to weld it by hand

otherwise try to use something like that
