Deployable solar panels ?

Anyone managed to make any good COMPACT deployable solar panels?
I spend half a day and nothing.... with Keen idiotic colision boxes of blocks it just nightmare.
Maybe someone can make a mod for that ?

I cant make mods but id be up for having a go at someting rotor/piston based. Also what specs, like how small folded vs how man panels were you thinking?

My first idea is to have them wrap around the central structure. One folds around one way one the other probs still work alright folded that way. Guess your dont want them fully concealed behind blocks, just not sticking out the side? Also are those conveyor hinges that they are on atm?

I never used that mod but if you do i could try messing with that aswell :)

I did that. But invisible colision boxes make giant gaps between blocks Its not small enough.
