1- Aim at it, hit Ctrl+B = that will add this ship to your Blueprints folder on the C: Drive.

Load a new Creative EMPTY world (the Empty one no Mods for a quick load/test), paste your Blueprint from the Bp screen F10.

>> Try the ship

= That will tell you if you were in a bugged world, well if it works in this one.

2 - ION thruster work only in space but that you should know ;)
i actualy didnt know that but nice to know
seems it was a temp bug, loading back in after a break fixed it

Great! :fix:

ION thrusters = Space only

Atmospheric thrusters = Planet with Oxygen high or low.

Hydrogen thrusters = We can use on planet and space as boosters to exit the planet Gravity.

>> I aslo use on worker ships as booster to help when cargos are full > to be able to return home cause the inventory mass is important in this game and the ship can fall on the soil when full load.

Why would inventory matter in the cold vacuum of space
Buzzard Jul 25, 2019 @ 11:08am
@Tony - First, Necromancy is for the weak. There's usually enough changes between then and now that some information/advice/problems are entirely outdated.
Second, inventory is mass. More mass means more power needed to move. Even in space, the mass/power equations still matter.
Third, there is an... inertia 'sticky' factor in play that tries EXTRA hard to keep stationary ships from moving. If a ship can't generate enough total thrust to break free from this, it'll never get anywhere without more thrust being added from somewhere. (or extra mass removed)

That inertia thing is actually a bug caused by having a connector on the ship. I have a report entitled 'Movement Problems' that includes this complete with demo video.

Hi Tony, yes would be kind to create a new discussion because of the game updateS, it's not the same at all now so old discussions become obsolete fast and I usually lock when over 3 to 6 months old.

Never be shy to create a new discussion.

Locking this discussion because Ion thrusters are working very well and this discussion is obsolete.

Know why I lock old discussions by reading the Pinned SE forum rules :
