.NET Framework out of date
Forces me to close the game and brings me to the Microsoft website. I already have the most up-to-date version of .NET framework. Anything to do about this?

I'm not sure. Have you tried running the repair tool? This has solved my issues with .net framework in the past.

Maybe have a look at the important pinned green messages in the Troublshooting section.

Try the solution in this pinned :

Share the Computer specs in "Steam system information" in help top of your Steam app.

OR

Went through the troubleshooting steps already. They didn't work. My Windows is perfectly up-to-date too. The only differing thing I got from troubleshooting was that running the .NET check through powershell netted a number that starts with 461 instead of 393.

Tried. Didn't fix the issue. Did a reboot afterwards to be sure.

In your log = it seemed that the NetFrameworks is up-to-date so that tells me there may be a conflict with the integrated graphic (if there is)

I see :

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 + DISPLAY2

Number of Monitors: 2
Number of Logical Video Cards: 2

There may be problems with that so make sure the 2 monitors are pluged into the GTX and I would try by unplugging one Monitor for a test.

_____________

> Some members had to Fix/repair Windows by updating or restoration.

> Others had to go to the Microsoft website to download the NETFramework fix.

> Some had to do a fresh installation of the Graphic driver to fix.

> Some had to disable the integrated graphic to avoid conflicts.

Go to %appdata%\spaceengineers folder and rename the SpaceEngineers.cfg file.

This will force SE to re-detect your hardware and might solve your issue.

That may fix ^^ I would delete it (SpaceEngineers.cfg) and start the game.

Yes it seemed to work :) Deleting the cfg file, deleting my saved games. So starting from scratch but it works! Perhaps the OP needs to delete the cfg file too

Final ditch effort, I uninstalled and reinstalled for a fourth time yesterday night. The only other option I had was to reset windows and I have 4TB of footage on my PC so that wasn't an option for me. This reinstall worked for some reason. So I am off and running again.
