Have you tried other servers? You could try one of the community servers in the "Multiplayer" channel on Keen Discord (for a test), server admins are shareing their server information 2 times per week over there and got the best SE servers where you can chat with the admin for a test.
All can join the SE community on Keen Discord from my post in that pinned :
https://steamcommunity.com/app/244850/discussions/0/810938810590486770/
you may try the forum workaround if nothing works :
> Verify the game files with Steam.
> Delete the CFG file.
> Delete the content of the ShaderCache folders. (that one fixed loading problems)
__________
How to Verify integrity of game cache:
- Right click on Space Engineers in your Steam Library.
- Go to properties.
- Go to LOCAL FILES tab.
- Click Verify integrity of game cache
- When done try the game.
___________
Type in your explorer: %appdata%\SpaceEngineers
Go to the SpaceEngineers folder
C: users / your username / appdata / roaming / spaceengineers
>> then delete the ''SpaceEngineers.cfg'' file and try the game.
____________
ShaderCache folders are in appdata SE, same place above ^
= You may report by Email = it goes to the SE programmer, too
Email > support@keenswh.com
He may have a important information to share with you but you must add the game log file in your report so he can have a look at something, follow #3 in the Guide on how to report and add the important in :
3. post log file along with description, it can be found here: C:\Users\{YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME}\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\SpaceEngineers.log
or simply paste this into your Explorer:
%appdata%\SpaceEngineers
The log file should be from the game session where you've encountered the bug. If you start the game again, the log will be overwritten.

I could have a look at the players in and join the Official server for a test and tell you if I can connect on my side ... bbl
Edit: The old HD is on a shelf behind me, so there's no way anything on it is interfering.
To ensure you dont have a corrupted file that will cause crashes like these delete the entire contents of:
Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers\TempContent
Also delete everything inside of:
AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\
with the exception of the /Blueprints, /Saves, and /Screenshots directories. All other folders and loose files can go and will be regenerated next time you run SE. The files i mentioned are ones that are not removed when uninstalling/reinstall SE nor when verifying integrity so they need to be manually purged if corrupted which is a very rare event.
Actually inside the /Saves folder will be a sub directory for the NA server. Delete that too. You can delete any folders about online servers. Just no need to delete your local single player saves
Fresh Windows install = make sure all updates are done cause some had to reinstall Netframework these days :
Message from the SE programmer =
Dev Inflex :
"Anyone experiencing the sudden CTD when trying to place block (MissingMethodException), please update your .NET Framework (Runtime) installation to version 4.7.1 or newer as a temporary solution:"

Keen helped me out, had to update C++,
Here's the link to fix for those who have the same problem

Dan2D3D
.NET Framework (Runtime) was the same or newer than 4.8 (message when trying to install it)
I installed C++.
I tried a couple Keen NA servers and keep getting the same message, The Server is Not Responding. I joined a random server, not experimental, no mods called GTXGaming and was able to get in and place some light armor blocks without any issue. The only thing I cannot do is join a Keen server.
I also emailed the log file you mentioned to support@keenswh.com yesterday.
Thanks for trying to help resolve this.
The best you can do is to send the game log file of that event directly to the SE programmer to help him.
Send it by Email > support@keenswh.com
OR
Create a new "Bug report" on the Support Portal.

My fix was CCleaner (what screwed my system a little bit) and a driver update check for every hardware + windows updates. (what fixed my system again)
Not really sure what cause it was. Just sharing my experience.
You're welcome!
