Validating Files Stuck at 99%
I recently had issues with space engineers, I was not able to load any of my saves besides newly created ones so I was told to validate my game files. It goes well at first but then towards the end it stays stuck at 99%, its been like this for over an hour now. All it says is validating steamworks common redistributables.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Here is the information on what Steamworks Common Redistributables are. They are required for the first time a game runs. They're setup and put in to the installation process by the developers of the games here on Steam. All users can do with it is wait for it to finish. It can be quite a large installation. Depending on what redistributables the developer put in to that game's file sizes are and your internet's download speed capability it could take a pretty long time to complete. Be patient with it for a bit. If it doesn't complete in 4 to 6 hours contact the developer of the game. It needs to complete or the game is probably not going to run.

Thank you for the response, Ill wait for about 6 hours and see what happens. If it don't work where do I contact the developer? Their website?

If you're patient enough to give it 6 hours that's more than enough time to give it to finish IMO.
Yes, most developers have contact information if they don't have a help system on their website. I would go through Steam's help system and let it guide me to where to get help. Steam's help system might have a solution if you go through it (doubtful for this but you never know). If it can't or doesn't suggest a solution for the options you choose it will tell you how to contact the devs.
