FFS How many times have I told you this already Dan? SEKTAN IS NOT WORKING ON SE IN VR. HE MADE AN INTERACTIVE VR ROOM USING SE SKINS. That is all he did. STOP SPREADING WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW TO BE A LIE.
It doesn't use Havok, or C#. You can't build anything. It's a lobby with borrowed skins.
If I put the Engineer skin in place of Pac Man in that game can I say I'm working on SE on Atari? No, I cannot.
It is the only thing close to VR if you want to try VR in SE so why I shared this with the OP.

That may be, but you need to be clearer when you describe it. Particularly when the context is playing ACTUAL SE in VR.
Sektan may be a modder, but that does not apply here so confuses the issue. He didn't Mod SE to make a VR experience, he PROGRAMMED novel, standalone software that 'looks' like SE. It is not what people mean when they say they want to play SE in VR.
A better way to 'help' on this topic would be to say "Sektan created an SE like environment you can fool around in".
Ok, sorry if you did not know, I will specify next time
edit
Original and first post =
"No, only Modder Sektan is working on it and he shared A Lot of videos of his progress already."
New phrasing =
No, only Modder Sektan is working on something similar for all to try VR in SE.
@Burstar >> is it better?
PS
Sorry my for my bad English!
a) you still refer to Sektan as a Modder which, in this context, suggests he made a mod, and
2) "in SE" is inaccurate. It is not 'in SE'. It 'looks like SE'.
Try "No, only Sektan is working on something similar for all to try VR that looks like SE."
please, please, stop with the BS correcting people, and just give help.. correcting someone on Stupid S**T doesn't help the guy one bit...
for the original poster, Vorpx is an app, its about $40 or so, maybe cheaper or more depending on when you read this post, if anyone reads this post.
Vorpx maps a 2d screen to a 3d headset, its not native VR but its about as close as your gonna get without SpaceEngineer's actually doing some WORK to support VR.. but according to them, VR is dead science because they are babbies and the got sick whenever they tried VR. yep, i said it.. BABBIES.. go back to the crib and suck on your bottle if you get sick in VR.. real VR guys dont care.. because VR is the next LEVEL.. so you can play your stupid atari and shut the heck up.. because the big boys want to play in a REAL ENVIRONMENT.
currently, only video connected headsets work somewhat ok with SE and Vorpx.. airlinked quest's suck horribly. make you sick level of sucking. but Rift CV1 and Rift S doesn't do too bad depending on your system setup. which btw - is what seperates the Babbies from the big boys!! Spend $5k on a decient system like the big boys and maybe you wont get sick when you play VR.. instead of your cheapo $1k babby gaming system with a junked out gpu mining gpu you got off of ebay for "WAY OVER PRICED"
when using Vorpx, there are a number of Profiles that you can use within Vorpx, lots of youtubes on how to setup VorpX..
for those who dont know the difference between 2d screen mapped to a 3d headset, and a real native VR, here is the main difference, its really simple:
Native VR doesn't glitch or have 30fps ratres. its smooth at 90fps, and the detail amazing. 2d mapped SUCKS horribly when compared to Native VR. another big difference is the 2d mapped has basic controls mapped to game actions. where native VR its not game actions, its actual actions. meaning, if you want to duck behind a barrier, you have to actually duck behind a barrier, as opposed to a 2d map, your pressing a button and your charector ducks behind a barrier...
a major drawback of 2d maps is that its really easy to get motion sickness or VR sickness if your in it for too long. this is because your movements are mapped to keys, not actual movements thats natural like it is in Native VR.
and i hate to say it.. "I WONT BE BUYING ANYMORE OF THE PACKS FOR SPACE ENGINEERS" until they start supporting NATIVE VR.. because this game SCREAMS FOR IT..
