one that was subscribed to, but is not missing from the workshop. its on my mod list, but i cannot unsubscribe to it to get rid of it.

It is the GHQ Respawn Rovers mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1973906904

is it simply o find the mod by using the 18739906904 number and deleting it?

Have you verified from the Workshop front page? Next to your Steam avatar on the right side ->

in > Subscribed items <, you may see it in there and can uncheck!?

There are some files in the steam directory that list the workshop items you are subscribed to.

I never had to edit them and don't know how the steam client would react if you edit them so be carefull and make backups.

Those files are in "your steam directory"\SteamApps\workshop

i can't pull the mod up to unsub it. it was missing from the world file, so the game would not load. i had to remove mods in groups until i found out it was this one.

so, i guess its still subscribed to, since i can;t get to it to unsub it.

In this case I would try by creating a collection with all your Fav Mods, once done > Go to Workshop, click "Subscribed items " and click the "Unsubscribe to ALL" button on the right.

Go to your Collection and clcik the "Sub to ALL" button.

mod management.. .sigh.... one day this will become important enough to be improved upon.

If it's not on the right side of the Mods screen when you go in to the world save 'edit settings' from the load game screen it's not going to be active in the game. You don't have to unsubscribe from it in the workshop to play the game without it loaded, just remove it from the right side of the mods screen before you load the game and it won't be there.

You can stay subscribed and not have it load in to the game that way.
Removing the number file might not unsubscribe you from it either. Deleting the number file might cause confusion or conflict, I suggest leaving the number file alone, just remove it from the active side of the mods screen so it doesn't load in to the game if you don't want to use or run it.

Send the item link to Steam Support asking to unsub for you, well if nothing works!

Steam support is in help on top of Steam app. and may be worth to try.

please read the above. the world game file will NOT load if the mod is on the right side of the screen. testing allowed me to determine this is the mod causing the failure to load. I am able (and have) loaded the game by moving the mod to the left window.

since the mod will NOT pull up on the workshop, i cannot unsub it. i am simply trying to get it off my list of subscribed mods cleanly. there is no in game way to unsub from a mod that is not longer on the workshop that i know of.

i will try the manual delete i was thinking of trying earlier. emailing support is a possibility, but I am sure they have better things to do than this.

Sorry and thanks for specifying.

I could add a notice about this in my report but I think you be better than me with words.
(world not loading)

Send by Email or on the Support Portal.

If it's no longer on the workshop and it's on the left side of the mod screen it's not loading in the game. You don't have to unsubscribe. Yes, deleting the file in the blueprints and cloud folder (if it's in cloud) will get rid of it so it doesn't show. But until you truly unsubscribe from it it might re-load it self in the available list. That was my point.

If it's not on the workshop anymore the only way to unsubscribe from it is to ask steam support to do that....if they can somehow. Either way this is something that should be reported to steam because it is a bug. If items aren't in the workshop anymore it should probably not load in anywhere, even a list, since it's no longer available. That's something hopefully Valve can address and fix for everyone.

well, i may have miss-understood you then. but i guess it is worth a ticket. its not hurting me to have in in the left window. its just annoying that i have to remember to not select it each time i create a new game. i try to keep the mod list clean for that purpose. just grab them all and move them to the right when starting a new game. still a hassle to do that, but thats the limited way the mod interface is as of now.

I will open a ticket with support.

steam support didn't listen. just said "we don't support the mods that are listed in the workshop" not listening to the request to clear up a bad listing of a mod. not a request to support a mod.

their comment was 'to seek support from the community forum."

so, yeah. something that should be so simple, is apparently not able to be fixed.

I am admin of the SE Workshop and I can't withdraw the subs on it tho I see the lock from VALVE on it.

I thought they would be able to do something, well more than me! :steamsad:
