Sadly you will have to REadd all blocks with the mirror on this time
I made the Starship Troopers without the mirrors and I fixed it later :

The trick is you have to copy the side you have add the merge block in first to a good easy location. Then you can use the copy feature to move it into place but I found a ship is easier. This is also how you can get multiple rotors/pistons to work on the same grid. Learned that trying to make a drill rover.
GL hope this helps sorry if it falls short.
Space Engineers Toolbox lets you dublicate your half ship and mirror it. Then you can go back into the world and copy/paste it together.
Beware, the toolbox needs to be on the same version as your SE world.
I have it installed, I will go try.
A Mirror Projector
It will project the mirror of any bp you have.
There are 3 presets we can select so I recommend you to try in a copy of your world first.
Select the ship in the world save, click the Mirror button on the right above the ship "stats" to see the presets mirror positions, selected the last one = mirror on the edge

And I did it with a completed ship so
Thanks for sharing, High Templar of Allium Cepa!
I did not noticed and I have it ;)
Thanks
