Is my PC good for gaming?
I have a HP Pavillion PC and here are the specs:

Processor - AMD A6-5200 APU with Radeon(TM) HD Graphics 2.00 Ghz

Installed RAM - 8.00 GB (7.45 GB usable)

System Type - 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Are these specs enough for decent gaming and if not then any suggestion for pc's or upgrades i can install?

The short answers are no, and buy a new PC. That is - buy a REAL PC and not a laptop.

You have a very old processor, no graphics card, and a mediocre amount of last-generation RAM. Your PC will likely handle older and less graphically intense titles okay, but you'll never play SE - or any modern AAA title - at decent framerates.

Sadly it does not seem like that is enough. I run this game on a laptop at about 30 fps. Here ae the specs of mine. Intel i5 (not sure which one) NVIDIA 950m and 16 GB of RAM.

I have a box store HP Pavilion PC 4th Gen i3 4170 with a stock graphics card, and I upgraded it to 16GB RAM. I keep my graphics settings on low (I find trees kind of anoying anyway), and I've been running this for about three years without any trouble at 60 FPS with some very large bases. Large capitol ships may slow it down a bit, but I've always been happy with how the game runs. Slight pause during the autosave, but smooth otherwise. If you like space sandbox survival games, it is worth the upgrade of your system if you have performance issues!!

I use a laptop and I get 60 fps so it aint the issue of having a laptop or a giant ass rig that takes up half of your computer desk

True. It's about how much more you're willing to spend in order to take your computer with you when you go take a ♥♥♥♥.

Gaming Laptop....£1000
Long ethernat cable.....£20
Dominos Pizza.....£20

Playing SE while having a ♥♥♥♥ ..... priceless :)

That's fair. I just figured, given OP's expectation that a budget netbook would be a "gaming machine," that a gaming laptop would likely be out of their price range. A poor assumption on my part.

Can always get/make a bigger desk, or even build PC into desk :P.

You also don't need a car to get to work.

Sure makes the experience more pleasant, though.

the advantages of a laptop is that you can easily use it in a power outage and it's more mobile than a giant box of a desktop

Not everyone needs mobility. Those that do need it pay a lot more money for a lot less performance.
