I've had similar problems with projectors ever since they were introduced. It's like they can never quite make their minds up if they're going to work properly or not.
Sometimes the projection gets "kept" but if you weld a block, then grind it away, that part of the projection becomes invisible, even though the game still considers it as projected & it can still be welded.
Sometimes "Keep Projection" doesn't work at all.
Sometimes hotkeying pitch, yaw & roll +/- gets all screwy & lets you change it one way but not back again.
There's all kinds of wierdness going on with projectors. It's hard to know where to start with them.
The only workaround I know for what you're seeing is to grind the projector away & built a new one in its place. The porblem might go away or it might not... it might even get replaced with a different problem!
Well that's depressing xD I was hoping to have that in my build but I guess I'm gonna just have to leave it as it is and hope for the best later down the road. Thanks for the help though, I can finalize thist hing now at least even if the projector is busted.
Wouldn't hurt to throw in a bug report on the official support pages. Might help to get it looked at sooner rather than later...
