Turning off performance profiling?

I get a strange overlay on my screen sometimes while adjusting the view using Alt+[Direction Keys] on my laptop. It's possible that I'm hitting the Insert[Numpad 0]/right shift key/Enter/End[Numpad 1] with my pinky. At any rate, I get a message stating that performance profiling is "NOT ENABLED" and the "Profile Type" is "SHALLOW". I'm not sure what button combination triggers this but I can't find a way to turn off the screen overlay - which lists function calls, fps, and a performance graph, other than exiting to Windows and restarting the game.

Question One: Is there an option to disable/unbind this key combination?

Question Two: Does anyone know of the key combination to turn off this overlay?

We can see the world Stats by using Shift+F11 and hit shift+F11 4 times to close.

Other Stats using Ctrl+H

Thanks. I'll try that. I figured out how to take screenshots but I haven't figured out how to share them. There also doesn't seem to be anything in the forum post editor to suggest that I can upload a file or embed an image...

The Steam screenshot tool should autostart after you exit the game if you took any screenshots in your game session. That's the easiest way, I think. Does it not start for you? Could be some switch or setting somewhere...

F12 in-game to take a Steam screen and go to "View" > "Screenshots" on top of your Steam app to see all your game screens (if the screenshots window does not open auto)

Ctrl + H was the one I was looking for! Thanks very much! I have idea how I was managing to toggle that while adjusting the view. I guess I haven't completely overcome my rogue-like/vim keybinding habits.

Sorry to necro a post, but I can find no info on this... what exactly is "performance profiling" mode and how do I enable it?

I really don't know but I know that it's Not needed to play SE, it's more Dev Tool, imo.

And never be shy to create a new Steam forum discussion when you have a question cause me or the Veterans will answer you within 24 hours and will avoid reports on you from the community about "Necroing".

If anyone else comes across this and needs a fix, the shortcut seems to be Alt + . on the numpad to show or hide this overlay.
