How to drive a rover.
Yup, I'm back again with another question. I just got a rover and it was unable to move at all. so I got another rover and had the same problem. Does anyone know what the controls are to the rover?

make sure your wheels are controlable via your driver seat. select the seat and check the boxes

don't forget to release the parking brake <P> key. Otherwise WASD keys control direction, and <Space Bar> brakes.

one thing i'd advise, have a gyro or two on board, with enough you can even flip it back over if your hole diggin, but its mostly meant to prevent you from flopping over so easily.

but yeah as mentioned make sure your seat can control wheels, parking brake off, wheels setup properly for turning and power, fuel, etc.

I think it was because my parking brake was on. I am still trying to get used to the controls

Xilo The Odd mentioned about rollovers. Another solution, would be to put a rod on your vehicle along the roof, attached by a rotor, to push it onto one side and then fully upright.. For heavier vehicles, you may need to supplement that rod with more rods, or even assisting thrusters.
I have a rover that I'm planning out that uses that setup, except the rods will be aligned front-to-back, and the trusters would be sufficient to hold it onto a cliff face or ceiling.

gyros are generally lower on power usage and prevent the roll over alltogether, but pending on terrain and how your driving, it can still be overcome if you dont have enough or have it set right.

i dunno why, but Nightwing your idea makes me think of the Tip Assist joke from the episode of south park where cartman gets a rascal power chair.
