Currently mods cannot inheret properties, or adjust single properties. As such you can't say, for example, "make the suit thruster twice as powerful" - you have to declare the entire suit, which happens to be a copy of the default one with the exception that the thruster is twice as powerful. As such, if your copy contains outdated information (as many suit mods currently will) it may produce errors like what you're experiencing.
Why not follow the Devs Guide and share a proper bug report for this?
I can tell you that my Jetpack is OK on planet so it must be world specific and sharing this world + the log file may get you a fast fix.
Better ask the Mod author for a fix cause since the Suit update = lots of modded suits are broken that need to be fixed and updated.
Always try No Mods first to see if it's Mod bug =
Vanilla works, but most jetpack mods now have issues. Since the core issue hasn't been addressed yet, any mod updates that fix the issue will likely only be temporary fixes, and will need to be revisited if/when the gravity situation is remedied.
