They changed the way wheels bahave on ice (much more instable) and thus this might just be working as intended.
On ice, the real wheels can possibly out accelerate the front wheels and NOT evenly between both rear drive wheels. The result is the vehicle's rear kicking out to the left or right, needing constant correction at lower speeds and becoming catastrophic at higher speeds.
If you can use in-game scripts, I created one that can save all your wheel/suspension settings as a preset and you can store multiple presets for different driving conditions... so you can quickly reconfigure your vehicle for driving on ice, hauling heavy loads, or climbing hills off-road, etc.
