Survival block placement mod

Hello,
I recently got back into the game, and had a blast so far building all kinds of small warships, and large factory and mining ships.

However, now that I've started to design bigger warships in survival, I found it fairly tedious to place armor panes down, especialy since you usaly need mroe than one layer etc.
I know I could switch to creative, but I do enjoy actually getting the resoruces needed for my constructions, and really making stuff.

Does anyone know of a mod that allows me to place block-scoffolding in lines or planes like in creative, so I oculd place the simpler armor layers faster? For the welding i can just build a bigger welder array on a welding ship, but I found no solution to the placement issue of the larger armor levels.

Any tips on how to get aorund this problem, or what mods could help there would be appreciated.

That would be a great mod! Being able to place blocks in a line or plane in survival, given you have the reasorces on hand.
But idk of an existing mod that does this.
