PLEASE HELP GRID CONTROL FORBIDDEN???

Ill be flying my ship. Get in combat. Go loot my enemy's ship. Get in my cockpit, then get Grid Control Forbidden. Station with higher..... Can somebody please help. Ive spent 53 Hours on this world. I tried leaving and restarting. It only worked for like 7 minutes. Any Ideas??

If by "Get in my cockpit" you mean the enemy ship's cockpit. Could be you don't own the cockpit. Grind it down to the hack line and weld it back up. You will then be the owner of that cockpit and you can control the ship other than the blocks marked red on the HUD.

Other players get this message when using a remote control while in a pilot seat.

Note i havent built anything else on my ship, or connect it to anything

I just flew to my ship. Went trough my airlock. Got in my own seat that i built. And it would let me move or anything

Have you tried by deleting all the other cockpits?

Have you tried to set a ''Main Cockpit'' ?

I wonder if AlphaDog56's game thinks his character never left the cockpit.

@ShadedMJ Yea like when i went to keen, everybody said they were using drones or remotes...But im using my own cockpit. As of right now, its okay. But sooner or later itll give me the error.

ShadedMJ, it's not the same thing here,

Tip for that ^^ = I can control my handmade turret but only by using the closest cockpit to that turret and I can control it.

But I see the ''GRID CONTROL FORBIDDEN'' message in all other cockpits = so just one works and it's the closest.

That is very hard to find the Steps To Reproduce the bug.

dan...I can walk you through getting this bug while blind drunk...

1 have a grid with a remote control and a cockpit
2. sit in cockpit
3.take control of the remote control.

and likee magic you cant use it.
