Terminal block settings tricks?
How do you type specific number amounts in to block settings? A sensors range settings for example or a rotors limits.

Here's an example of what I mean in one of Splitsie's youtube videos:
https://youtu.be/r29eQkru-F4?t=780

Has the ability to do that been removed or broken by an update? I can't figure it out!
I've tried right-clicking, I've tried pressing keys I'm not sure of what they do and can't find it.

I'm also trying to figure out how to select multiple blocks in the block list of the terminal quickly instead of holding control and clicking on them one by one. I've seen Splitsie do that in one of his videos too so I know it at least used to be possible.

Ctrl + click on any slider to manually input values

Some round off like timer blocks, so you would put 0.5 seconds, but it always rounds to 1 second :)

show on hud on sensors and gravity combined with show gravity and sensor range make tuning them a breeze. I also make the hud transparent to a degree.

Thanks! I'll give that a try.

??????????
What does show on hud and gravity and HUD transparency have to do with terminal settings for blocks? Thanks for the reply.

I'd like to get ^that^ figured out too. Anyone know how to do it?

For selecting multiple blocks in terminal it's shift-click you're looking for - to select all between the two clicked. I don't remember if also ctrl-shift-click was usable to select two separate segments?

A very neat trick is to use the search box: i.e. type "thr" to list all thrusters for easy grouping, and if sitting in cockpit, thrusters show directions: type "back" to list all thrusters (backward) = your front thrusters, group them so you can add an easy toggle on quickbar to turn them off for economic gliding on planets/moons.

Oh, and you can also rename any block's name into anything you want - add "stone" or "ore" to one cargo container's name when you're gonna store all stone or ore in that container: when searching "stone" or "ore" from all inventories, that container will be shown along with them even if it's empty.

Thanks! That's what I was looking for. Shift+Click wasn't a combination I tried. I use the search feature and rename things to organize them all of the time. I also like the 'hide from list' feature and use that all of the time too to keep that list as clear and easy-to-find stuff as possible. I use grouping all of the time too. It just makes things a lot easier and quicker.
