Window tint... I don't get it.
I did a quick search and I have seen a few post about this but they were several months old. I just want to be sure it's not because I have had a few pints too many.

There are various windows sizes, hoo'ra that works. There are several window types, again - hoo'ra. What I don't get is that the tint doesn't seem to match. Slopes are darker than flat, and large window vs. small ones don't seem to match either.

I don't really have an issue placing them once I got that the angled side should point out, the tint thing is about to drive to me the frige for another (maybe that isn't so bad after all).

It would be great if windows had a setting for tint.

seems like something maybe they can add to the control panel is window tint control, or make advanced windows that take a computer component that allow for tint adjustment.

it'd be cool to make it look pitch black from the outside so they just look like armor blocks.

One side is always tinted, one side is always clear. If it's rotational-symmetrical you need to flip it to get the tinted side facing the way you want it. If it's mirror-symmetrical but not rotational-symmetrical you need to use either the right or left variant of the block to get it the way you want.

But agreed, it would be much better if you could just flip the tinted face without having to rotate or replace the block, similar how Empyrion does it. Or, even better, add a slider to the block to adjust the transparency and tint color of either side...

Actually, there is a standard and "inverted" version of at least the plain 1x1 window - the difference is which side is tinted. That insight didn't come to me naturally...

Yes, and if you look through them from the other side the darkened side turns almost transparent.
