Is there some way to connect small grids to large grids?

Im trying to make a space station, and i want to use merge blocks to connect my things, how do i do this, if it is even possible?

Merge blocks cannot do this. But you can put a small grid rotor tip onto a large grid rotor and then build a small grid which is connected to the large grid via the rotor.

That is the only way I know to mix large and small grids.

Agreeing with casualsailor, but it would probably be good to safety lock that rotor as well, to keep it from getting funny when you load your game.
