Where can I find night vision goggles ??
Hello, I crashed my aircraft into the mountains on mars at night already 2 times, the hills couldn't be seen against the horizon. I urgently need some night goggles, where can I find this ? It would be ridiculous if this technical game is missing of a such simple thing.

Wow, lets talk first about "ropes"... then we can talk about "special" things, like hand-grab-feature of items/small grids... xD Btw: I miss reactor-trashitems you need to hide in the underground in barrels, because of the xray.... Reactors are rly unrealistic "clean"... Oo and where is the nebula in space... or a feature for creating jump-holes without jump-drives installed on ships... (u know this stargate / freelancer / eve online jumpgate-thing there) oh and whats with black-holes, worm-holes by nature?

maybe you use 2 small blocks. drill holes on each one using a drill and then place a green light inside each hole....
SE dont have night vision googles. You have build in so called "Lights" on your ship

thanks for your worthless answer... you can guess that the aircraft had light. If that had helped I hadn't asked that question.

No, but if you had given a kind response other then calling it worthless, people may feel inclined to respond to you, Now, for NV, this isnt DayZ or Unturned, its SE, im sure you can find a Script for a camera, but other then that no, no mods that i know of, and the only thing i can think of is Turn Night off, Make your light rang bigger, OR change brightness higher either via ingame or External Plug

I know there are mods to make night time darker, I did I quick check and couldn't find any current ones that make it less dark.

Mars' terrain is unforgiving. My giant rover had enough trouble driving in the day, does that slight rise obscure the other side of the hill, or a massive chasm? Did get airborne a few times.

Anyway, beware mountains on Mars, the only sane way is to go around them, unless you want to visit the monolith. Get to know the area around your base, put up GPS markers for areas with obvious hazards.

yes, therefore I used an aircraft because rovers are of limited capability. I'm disappointed that I couldn't find some night vision in the workshop or around the web. A game like SE should have such.

Or you could, you know, just fly higher so you dont hit ♥♥♥♥. I play with a 400m/s small ship speed mod and to avoid becoming a smear across ground by hitting things like mountains I just fly higher then they can be generated.

...yes sure, but what if you search for a landing site and can't see the ground before - I tried spotlights, but they are insufficient as well and didn't spend enough light ?
Sooh Jun 22, 2019 @ 1:22pm
i like the idea of a night vision!
Sooh Jun 22, 2019 @ 1:23pm
Cancer, you can try to drop light pod from your ship to the ground! if there is no NV, you can shoot light to the ground instead of using spot light that are limited in area!
Sooh Jun 22, 2019 @ 1:25pm
with a camera on a tiny pod you built with a light on it! or a spotlight to light on an area! the camera could be used to manoeuvrability! you have to control the pod you want to shoot.

Hi, I don't think there is "night vision goggles", well in-game and I did not noticed any Mods.

It is harder to see ore spots at night and same to find lost ship so make sure you have power with antennas set on Max range with a Station nearby = the station antenna will help to see all ship antennas in its range.

It is worst inside and I have to tun ON my suit light even during the day.
It's dark :

+

There is the "Eye adaption" thing in game so you may see better in some positions.

edit

sorry I made some corrections up there

your choice of words was a little bit "unuseful" Sorry, if my answer gets a little to rough. But you have several option to avoid crashing into mountains. place a load of headlight to the front and underneath. adjust the headlights to max distance, this could help

Shaila has the right idea. There are mods that increase the maximum lighting distance of spotlights. Alternatively, there are raycast scripts that you could use as a '♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ betty' ("pull up" "pull up")

And as much as I hate to waste peoples time, you can vote for this here:
