How do you find stuff that flew off in space?
I have a single player game with this problem (lol), block limit. After years of playing with the same pc I know what my block limits are before performance is effected and I've reached that limit. I've had several mishaps and exlplosions in this game that threw stuff off in to space that I wasn't going to chase down and delete. Does that stuff eventually delete it self or is it still out....there...?

Is there a way to find it?
Or delete it through a menu option somewhere for a single player game?

Say you have a server and...well...a bunch of players left trash everywhere, blocks they don't use, parts of ships and stations players started building but never finished and moved light years away from it or large and small parts that got destroyed that are now wondering around being useless except to effect the PCU limit. All of it counts toward PCU limits, right?

It would be nice if there was a way to delete the wondering garbage we lost and either forgot was out there or don't see it because it's so far away. Is there a way to delete that crap?

If you have Remote Block Removal allowed then you can go into info tab when in space suit, and you'll see a list of your grids, which you can then remove them.

Hi, first we can play with no limits = just have to enable "Experimental" in game options to see the world advanced settings to disable/enable all we want.

Hit Alt+F10 in-game to open the Space Master tools = a lot of cool stuff for the host in there, God mode like.

Server admins have settings that will delete floationg trash and non powered grids auto.

Oh! I should have specified > In the SM, select "Entity list" to see all grids in the world and delete from there.

For completeness: The default setting of the trash removal is "delete all grids that are not powered and smaller than 20 blocks and further than 500 m away from the player". The purpose of this is the exact situation you described: remove those flying ship pieces from the game world.

If they are powered or larger than 20 blocks then they persist and will continue on forever. For these you can use the admin tools as Dan suggested above.

Its sad that we dont have a grid-scanner.... and can find grids only with cheating-admin tools... there is rly something missing, here... ther other point is trash-fields in space (without moving)... and active item collision back on. I still looking for an upgrade of the ore-scanner for this... (no need for an extra block / no need for update old blueprints in case ore-scanner is inside... just give it the feature to find grids in a very larger range - around 25% of jump-range + last jumppoints like in Elite Dangerous is a good idea)

First the safe zones and after that... its a good time for a feature to find others...
Boring 6.6 AU is still a problem after some time. Jump Drive is nice, but total overpowered for hide-mode... or lets call it: boring-mode...Antenna/Beacon Range is the same... make this visible... and not only 50 Km³... Thats rly nothing...
