Error creating new game
Whenever i try to create a new game i get the following error:

2019-08-03 17:15:50.406 - Thread: 1 -> Exception occured: System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: key at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentNullException(ExceptionArgument argument) at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.FindEntry(TKey key) at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.TryGetValue(TKey key, TValue& value) at VRage.ObjectBuilders.MyObjectFactory`2.CreateInstance[TBase](MyObjectBuilderType objectBuilderType) at Sandbox.Game.SessionComponents.MyEnvironmentalParticles.LoadData() at Sandbox.Game.World.MySession.LoadComponent(MySessionComponentBase component) at Sandbox.Game.World.MySession.LoadDataComponents() at Sandbox.Game.World.MySession.PrepareBaseSession(MyObjectBuilder_Checkpoint checkpoint, MyObjectBuilder_Sector sector) at Sandbox.Game.World.MySession.Load(String sessionPath, MyObjectBuilder_Checkpoint checkpoint, UInt64 checkpointSizeInBytes, Boolean saveLastStates, Boolean allowXml) at Sandbox.Game.World.MySessionLoader.<>c__DisplayClass18_0.<DownloadModsDone>b__0() at Sandbox.Graphics.GUI.MyGuiScreenBase.RunLoadingAction() at Sandbox.Game.Gui.MyGuiScreenLoading.RunLoad()

This happens both for making worlds with and without any mods installed.
I just get kicked back to the menu receiving a popup something went wrong and an error log was saved, as seen above.
However I can join servers that my friend makes with the exact same mod list I we both use no problem...
It also sais in the settings that the GPU is overloaded, but when looking at temps it's <50 degrees, and I currently own a GTX 1080Ti Strix so i'm pretty sure it won't overload due to Star Citizen considering my friend has a way weaker setup.

Any help?

Hi, delete the CFG file, verify the game files with Steam and try the game.

Type in your explorer: %appdata%\SpaceEngineers
Go to the SpaceEngineers folder
C: users / your username / appdata / roaming / spaceengineers

>> then delete the ''SpaceEngineers.cfg'' file

+

How to Verify integrity of game cache:

- Right click on Space Engineers in your Steam Library.
- Go to properties.
- Go to LOCAL FILES tab.
- Click Verify integrity of game cache
- When done try the game.

Create a new Empty No Mods world for a test, the one named "Empty"

So this worked for creating an emtpy world, however when I tried to enable mods the error occured again. Please keep in mind that my friend can create the exact same world with the mods enabled without any problems. I'll provide the complete log:

Hi, so it's a Mod problem then = it gives more troubleshooting to do.

The game log is incomplete so nothing relevant in to help.

Send the complete log to a SE programmer :

3. post log file along with description, it can be found here: C:\Users\{YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME}\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\SpaceEngineers.log
or simply paste this into your Explorer:
%appdata%\SpaceEngineers
The log file should be from the game session where you've encountered the bug. If you start the game again, the log will be overwritten.

Send all here > https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/general

Try this :

Go to the Mods folder, delete all in, add ONE Mod to a new world and load it.

Share the "Broken" Mod ONE at a time here.

Edit

How much Mods there is in that world?

Test ONE at a time and paste the Workshop link when broken Mod found.

I know but now you must do a minimum of testing to know what is going on so follow my steps in post #4.

How much Mods there is in?

So that modder should be getting a poke or a post on his mod about the issue, perhaps. Might be that the game has changed juuuust enough to break his mod.

EDIT: Oh, 2016 vintage mod. Yup, just change out for something more current.
