Construction cost list for components
Hi,

i only see what blocks need for their construction (steel plates, motors ets.). For example the wind turbine. Is there a list that someone compiled that i can print out and use so that i don't have to memorizes them?
It is a little bit of a hassel to switch from assembler to the block again, to see what i have to build.

I found a calculator, but that is not the same thing as a comprehensive list next to my keyboard.

Did anyone do that?

Thanks.

You could look at the outdated Space Engineers Wiki.

Wait, wasn't there a version of the "easy inventory" mod incorporated into the game?

Klick the block in G-menu with MMB, then go to inventory menu and press “order components for build planner” button. It will automatically order in assembler all the components needed for all blocks from build planner. Also, you can order blocks in assembler (same window as components)

Most definitely...use the build planner, or the original better version called easy inventory, which Keen took and farked up with their idiot 'developers'

just use the build planner. middle click on a storage container with the block you need to place and it will add the components of the block to build planner and then withdraw them from the container.

Wasn't "easy inventory" mod created by one of the Dev team?

If you have an Assembler, it can literally make the components needed to make a special block like in a queue. The 2 left tabs in the 'Production' tab are for large and small ship blocks seperately, so you can get exactly what you need.

I have currently more the feeling: how much cost this block at the end in space credits.... xD

It's a bit of a hassle. But all the information is hidden in a bunch of .sbc files. It's in XML format that you can read with a basic text editor like Notepad (++). So take the file link Acamas posted as the base and update it to current data.

See them in: Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers\Content\Data\CubeBlocks
