Seems to be the way currently. When we look the files, only the thumb.png and a info.temp-file is inside from the workshop. No .sbc anymore... like the local version. It seems, you have now something to do... xD
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\
You can verify by finding one of the blueprints on the workshop, record the ID in the address bar, then look for the ID number in the mods folder.
the old place, where we create our mods and local-files are much better.... :(
Makes for me less sense to have 3 paths now.... -.- (1. where game is installed, 2. local 3. workshop where we create/uploads our mods) What is this?...
EDIT: blueprints and savegames folder are located here, as well as logs and spaceengineers.cfg
I think its right, now? - updated it just a few min ago:

In case you have only a file like this in the folder... is the workshop-item deleted or private now?
22843040654641304_legacy.bin
(edit: rename *bin into .zip and some normal files *.sbc and .png inside) but why a bin and not normal files? Oo
hmm, workshop search found nothing. Oo - Or is it still the case that we need to use it ingame, before we get all the files? Some new stuff not used yet and all normal files inside... Oo
