Cool options can be used with the Safe Zone like sharing the Zone with SPAT and your Faction = cool Enemy Mine I was able to create using that option :

Important to remember :
ONE idea per vote "Feedbacks" for the vote system to work properly, it becomes unusable if more than one idea in to vote on.
A good Ttitle that shows what is in to vote on will give you a better visibility to have more vote and a better chance to be added in-game
There was A Lot of reports from the community Testers about "Griefers" so why we now have this block.

I always create my PVP world before playing in with my friends.
I like to create "Battle for the ores", I create Uranium and Platinum mines so the Battle will be over there.
A lot can be done with imagination and why SE is my Fav = I can do all I want.
I definitely agree. SE has some of the greatest potential of it's type of games; I suppose what I want is the game to be more flexible to encourage this sort of creative innovation in server designs, as most servers do not deviate significantly from the inherent game/map design, and I can't exactly host a server on my computer.

If you go play on a public server you must accept the fact that you may lose your creations.
Also, usually people take breaks from Space Engineers, and if you know the location of their base you can wait enough time until their safe zone goes down, and raid. So, it's only temporary offline raid protection, and then they'd have to play for a while to get more zone chips, and power.
I'm a very PVP-type player, and usually I'm against safe zone mechanics, although with the upkeep it's okay with me.
On the server I play on you cannot make a station unless it's connected to a voxel, so most of the time the bases that have safe zones are perm in that location.
Before they had add this into the game, I already wrote about LiF YO - System:
In Life is Feudal Your Own you can define one hour per week.... in this time is rage time! - No protection is working! And your base/blocks can be damaged.... - Server-Admins can set how long and the days.... Maybe on/off, too. I forgot. And the protection-block there need items, too. - I rly like this system.
What we have in SE:
- need alot of power (runs fast down / out of uran barren)
- not rly something for solar / wind / battery (and thats good, end-content)
- big size need more power.... (25 meters already better with small reactor)
- minimum size = 10 meters and thats already the size of the zone-block nearly... (we cant do anything with this in real) just 1-2 containers more or less....
- better use uran/reactor for this... (need uran)
- station only
- restart-time on grid-change or power-out (around 30 sec info in real around 25 sec)
- no power = no zone anymore
- need item(s) (Zone Chips 24 per day, Uran Barren runs fast out like Hydrogen.... xD)
- Zone Chip price around 132.000 Credits I think. Oo - Have some money/missions to do.
- removed the feature to combine safe zones together.... (ok, small range around 5-10 meters to the next) Not sure about admin zones maybe still possible to combine it, I hope. (i.e. admin-room with container only) We have still no rank-system in the faction, for access or use rule....
Currently we can just hope for an power-out or they run out of zone chips and THATS IT - I like the Life is Feudal Your Own System more, for sure! - We can plan an attacking-day and hour for this.... and play together...! At the end, maybe the player trade more together and play more together because of this, again... Who knows.... we will see this in the future....
- With this, pvp... yeah its a killer for pvp. (or not?!....)
- But to keep the zone running, need rly alot of power....
- And they need to come out of it... for stuff, like: Uran-Barren, Chips (only NPC´s sell it)
- In case they are only trading this.... Yeah, attack the traders.... xD - And this need to be: right time, right place.... more difficult to plan, then day/hour X (we still play together, right?) ;P
- Better place us / our base near npc-stations.... In case MEAT need to come and buy chips.... ;P (hehehe)
- Not sure about: we buy all zone-chips here.... nothing more to sell in store.... but player store now only... or freaky player shoot on this item and gone.... :)
- With these two points up there: better keep chips in npc´s hand...^^ They need to come there.... and not invisible trade with admins.... looks like a pvp-killer 2.0
- In case they go inactive, the zone will go down, when power is running out. (the only good point, when we look on this overpowered status of zones, in case we ignore power/chips)
At least it need power und chips to keep this running.... and more or less public gps for trading.... and thats a good think.... we play together, we should know where M E A T is... :)
Yes, I prefer LiF YO system... a little bit more. :) - And maybe Zone Chips only spawn by Admin into the world.... (yes we can take this out of the total overpowered npc´s trade-hand) ;P The system is something we can use.... could it be better? yes! (everything can always be better! xD) But it could be much worst, too.... Dont let us forget this! - Remembers me to: total overpowered JumpDrive Block.... hide in 6.6 AU and no one can find you, because no radar-block inside... and after some time: base done... -> boring -> game leave.
At least 2.0 : They dont come to player-base and trade this stuff with ships.... :P So, we dont need to attack an npc-faction. (yet?!).... :)

Economy-Blocks not inside of block-type limits. Checked it one minute, ago again.
We can make a rule for this on the paper, but not in the server blocklist.
