Alternatively, build little O2 bottles, fill at your tank, recycle/rebuild the bottles, repeating as desired.
in space/moon/... i can open the door
but on earth planets that isnt an option
I create a "Balance tank" to empty my rooms so Depressurize / Pressurize using a air vent connected on the Oxygen tank and that tank must NOT be connect on the main conveyor line where the O2/H2 Generator is.
= This way your Oxygen Tank is never full especially to have space in the tank to Depressurize/Empty the room.
Manual airlock = the Oxygen tank must not be connected to the O2/H2 Generator :

i use the amont of produced oxygen from the oxygen farm to check if there is light
and then i get rid of the oxygen (in space) by opening the door
that dont work on earth
thats my problem
In space to release the air out of an air tight room all you need to do is either turn the air vent off or set up a button panel button for an air vent to depressurize. Depressurizing removes the oxygen out of an air tight space. It doesn't have anything to do with actual pressure as in force like when you're deep under water in the ocean. It has to do with oxygen it's just called pressurizing and depressurizing. There is no pressure in space.
Sucking out the air from a planet wont work
Wouldn't it be simpler to use a solar panel and check whether it generates any power? Would work anywhere and wouldn't require any O2.
You can fill your oxygen tanks on a planet with air vents set to depressurize (even on alien). Has no effect on the planets atmosphere of course.
@topic think this approach is too complicated, would try to solve it with solar panels like Pembroke suggested.
I still don't know what you are doing so if you have Fun = I will let you work on your creations
the easiest way would be to download it
its working except of earth planets after all
Sorry I still don't know what it is used for but if it is what you needed = it must be a good Engineer challenge.
if light = it produce oxygen
if the room is full before 3 min than it turn the light on
if not the oxygen leave through the open door
instead of turning light on u can turn off a generator
or something else
i use a door to get rid of the oxygen now(and its not surprising it dont work on earth)
oxygen tanks would work for a short time but thats not realy satisfying
guess its a non oxygen planet/space vanilla/no dlc light sensor than
What is sounds like you're trying to do is not possible. You can't remove oxygen from earth planets. You can depressurize rooms as a few replies have explained how to do (that is seems you didn't read or you're ignoring) but why bother removing it from an air tight room on an earth like planet? Your character needs it to breathe.
lol telling me that i didnt read all the posts here is funny
guess i leave it as it is there is wind energie anyway
so who cares if the sun is shining or not
OK, thanks for specifying and I wish you more good work, Engineer!
