Basically whatever routine is responsible for listing things is looking for the second charcter in the name before the next in sequence to the first character (hope that makes sense). In other words, it's geared to list things alphabetically, not numerically.
Currently the only way to list your 30 containers in proper sequential order would be to label them using one number and one letter... 1a, 1b, 1c - 1z, then 2a, 2b - 9a, 9b, etc. Not ideal I know but it'd work until you got to double digits (which would allow for 235 containers - or 261 if you started your numbering with 0a).
You'd probably find a lot of people would support changing the way this thing works - why not post it as a suggestion on the SE feedback site or in the suggestions section here one Steam...
I'd back it for one!

Yes. This.
1,700+ hours and I'm a total muppet for not thinking of that!
Guess it can't have bothered me too much either!
Try "Cargo 01" "Cargo 02" ... "Cargo 10"
