Room pressure slowly decreasing
What could be possible issues?

plenty of ice and/or oxygen in tanks? You could be using it up lol. Make sure you have a proper airlock too. otherwise idk. I've never had that problem without it being one of those two issues causing it.

if there is a breach, you'll leak all your air out, if its a slow leak, my only guess would be you've run out of ice and a air vent is set to depressurize or if multiple air vents are present, you have a greater number set to depressurize than pressurize.

if all else, weld up some of the rooms blocks, its possible one might be damaged.

Ah thankyou, Is there anyway to tell how much oxygen I have in tank?

TL:DR There is a (fixable) bug that causes rooms to slowly loose pressure but check everything else first. Sorry long post - trying to cover everything for you....

To fiind out how much Oxygen is in a tank, look in control panel. Select your Oxygen Tank. On the right hand side of the screen should appear info on the tank's current status. You'll see a % filled reading and 2 figures indicating the current contents in Litres. Alternatively you can just look at the 4 lights on the side of the tank for a rough estimate. A full tank will display 4 green bars. A half full one will display 2, etc.
Check in the control panel that "Stockpile on/off" is set to "Off" and that the tank is turned on & powered.

Also check your Oxygen sources (Oxygen Generator/s or Oxygen Farm/s) to make sure they're turned on & powered. If you're using an Oxygen Generator make sure it has ice in it and that the ice is actually being used up... you can check that on the inventory screen. If the generator is working you'll see the quantity of ice in it decreasing.
For Oxygen Farms, a number representing the current output in Litres per minute is displayed in the control panel on the right hand side when you select the block.

Double check your conveyor system for damage or interruptions. Blocks are known to get damaged / destroyed for no apparent reason sometimes.

Try refilling your suit Oxygen & Hydrogen from an enclosed cockpit or Cryo Chamber that's connected to your Oxygen system. If you sit in the cockpit / chamber and your suit reserves do not go up... and you know that you've double checked everything above, then you're probably seeing the bug.

To test more for the bug, have a play with your cargo system. Try to move cargo through the conveyor system from one place to another. If the cargo will not move through the system and you can't get the Oxygen / Hydrogen blocks to do anything either, then you're probably seeing the bug.

The bug basically causes all conveyor blocks to stop conveying. No cargo, Oxygen or Hydrogen will pass through them while it's in effect.

To fix just exit & reload the world.
In rare cases this might not work & you'll have to exit the game & re-launch it.
Saving the game with the bug present does not appear to save the bug into the game - it should disappear on reloading.

The bad news is that if it's the bug then it'll keep coming back until it's fixed properly dev-side.
Sometimes you'll get it back for no reason or after only a few minutes of play, other times it seems to be triggered by certain events like merging / connecting 2 or more ships together.

As for hull breaches, as I understand it there's no such thing as a slow leak, so don't spend too long searching for some tiny hole that may not exist. The room will either be air-tight or not. If it's air-tight it will pressurise to full atmosphere, if it isn't it wont pressurise at all. If a breach is caused in a pressurised room, all the air in the room will be sucked out instantly, just like it would if you opened a door - it doesn't leak out slowly over time & has nothing to do with how big or small the breach is.

Key to reading air vent lights...
Yellow = Room is not sealed / cannot be pressurised
Blue = Vent is set to depressurise
Green 1-4 = Room is sealed, vent is pressurising. Number of lit bars indicates level of pressure in the room.

You can also examine the air vent in the control panel window to get an exact % figure of how much air is in a room. Select the vent in the list & look on the right hand side of the window.

Happy holidays. Try not to suffocate!

^ that bug is usually fixable by cycling the power of the ship from a control seat. just turn it off, then back on using 'Y' and it SHOULD fix it without you having to exit the game. I've only ever had that happen on a MP world though and I wanna say its a desync thing. If in SP this is likely not the problem. If in MP and you have to reload the world, just enter a cryopod and hit F5 to relog onto the server. It'll save you some time.

otherwise, the advice is spot on. Dont waste time looking for missing blocks that may form a seal if the light on the air vent is green, even if there is no oxygen in the room, there can be there just isnt any getting to the vent for one reason or another.

I'm getting the bug constantly in SP survival, so can confirm it's not just an MP thing. It's been plaguing me every 10 minutes or so since a couple of updates ago.

Was not aware that toggling power was a fix though, so thanks for that. Should be interesting, as am currently playing in a world with multiple ships docked together & about half a million different power sources, all controlled by timers... eek!

Hey, I think that I've found the reason, I'm not at home, so I can't test it but I have the same thing with dropping pressure, and now I actually remember, that when the pressure was dropping, I was in creative and had my mask off, and since it was just a small airlock, my pressurizing went was stopped, thus I was breathing up the oxygen and dropping pressure!

Nice try but nope, that's not the cause.
I investigated this one thoroughly, as at one point I was experiencing it every few minutes. It's definitely a bug and nothing to do with breathing the Oxygen.
The bug causes all conveyors to stop conveying until you re-load the world. Nothing will go through them - not Hydrogen, not Oxygen, not cargo.

Shortly after this thread was posted it was at least partially fixed. It still rears its ugly head from time to time but nowhere near as often as it once did.

No doubt it'll be completely fixed at some point. We just have to be patient.

Also... always check the dates on forum posts before replying. This one hasn't been active since December 2017, which means forum admin will consider your post a necro.
General rule of thumb on the SE forums - if it's over a month old it's dead = start a new thread.
