[SOLVED] Fastest way to create flat platforms?

I just want to make a really big, flat platform of heavy armor blocks and I'm wondering if there's any faster way to do it besides spammed Mouse1 while in creative mode.... thanks

In creative mode, you should be able to click and drag to make a long line of blocks, (Belive it can also go in two directions too?), Also theres symmetry mode, which i think by default you hit N to enable, and M to select a plane, left click on a block to apply the plane (Right click to remove)

try using Ctrl+Shift while hovering on an existing block, then delete the block you used

In the options, you can customize what holding left click does. One example is plane mode, where you hold left click and create a plane of blocks, basically a platform.

shift+click and drag creates a plane as long as you're attaching it to something and not creating a new grid.

ctrl+click for a pillar of blocks
ctrl+shift+click for a platform

You could create the platform and then save is as a blueprint(Crtl + B), so instead of building it each time, you can just paste it in.

If you want to make a REALLLLLLLY big platform the plane tool might not work, i suggest using plane tool then reaching maximum length and width then copy and pasting to make it bigger, don't know why you would need a 6000 block platform for...

How am I able to use the plane tool? None of the binds seem to work for me and I can't find it in the options to rebind it...

Do you know the process? Place a block. Hold Ctrl and press mouse button to place another block on the first one, but keep Ctrl held. Now move mouse 2 blocks over and release the mouse button. Now release Ctrl.

i always build starting with a single block locked down to the deck and then i clang while flying backwards. i can average about 30 blocks per 10 seconds.. idk the ctrl shift click thing seems handy but not perfect
