BUG - sometimes when placing a light armor block, it places a light slope block instead.

I'm Also experiencing this problem.

This isn't a bug, actually, The "Light Armor" block, and a number of others, now have a + sign in the upper right corner, And will shift between all of it's sub-block types (Block, slope, corner, etc) when you scroll your mouse wheel (By default) Allowing you relatively easy access to all of that blocks sub-types from one hotbar slot.

Edit: That said, I thought it was a bug too till I noticed this :D

No problem :) It's a very nice quality of life thing, I'm definitely rebinding it from my super-sensitive scroll wheel though, personally.

its was doing this before as well, every time i picked a certain block it would switch when i placed it, if i wanted a sloping one faced a certain way it was be placed the opposite every single time, sometimes it wouldnt let me place blocks at all.

every thing I try to place changes between every type it can, so I have to try over and over to get the type I want
