How do you colour a whole ship?

Can you colour a whole ship or just have to paint it

If you hold shift while painting it paints in a 5^3 volume.

Control + Shift + Middle Mouse Button colors a whole grid.

Shift + MMB = 5x5x5
Control + MMB = 3x3x3

Space Engineers Toolbox, select allthe blocks of the ship and change the color.

This is an old topic that's going to get locked now that you posted in it.

To paint an entire grid:
Equip any block from the tool bar as if you're going to place it and aim it at the grid.
Hold CTRL
Then press and hold SHIFT while you're holding CTRL
Then press (click) middle mouse button.

Hi, you may double check the used keys in-game F1.

Painting Keys :

Aim at what you want to paint with block in hand
+
MMB to paint one block
SHIFT+P on a block will copy its color
Ctrl + MMB paints a 3 block orb
Shift + MMB paints a 5 block orb
CTRL + SHIFT + Middle mouse click will paint all blocks.
