Windows to match 2x2x1 slope base and tip?
Has anyone created windows to match the 2x2x1 slopes, tips and corners added earlier this year? I've searched the Workshop, discussions and googled.

You mean half blocks? because there are all windows for all other ordinary blocks, which are grouped, and there are ones for 2x2x1, as 3 last ones in block menu. just use mouse scroll to select one you need. there is several in each group, like "light armor block"

If you mean half blocks, then no, there is no updated windows to half blocks yet :(

I really want half 1x2 window slope blocks... that would solve this problem and make really slick ships.

On another note, i also really want 1x4 slopes XD

We have all the 2x1 slopes in windows, and yeah im all for some 1x4, but peeps asked for half blocks for years so dont hold out hope :)

PS does everyone mean 2x1x1?

there is no 2x2x1 as far as i know ;)

I meant i want half window blocks, like the half 1x2 slope blocks. I would be surprised if i didn't know 1x2 existed already ;)
But yeah i just assumed they were talking about the 1x2 window block XD

Ahh sorry misread your post there my bad. Yeah half windows to match the new blocks would be sweet and a half a 2x1 would be epic for narrower slopey bridge windows :)

I can think of some really nice designs using half window blocks... just don't want to use a mod :(

I think Keen totally misunderstood what people wanted when they asked for half size blocks. Many wanted the ability to put 2 blocks in the same collision space as one so for example they could build a 1 block wide corridor with half size walls that would permit them to put lights on both walls.

Instead we got half size blocks and wedges but no corners or inverse corners and no corresponding window blocks. And they still occupy a full blocks collision space.

Half blocks have very limited utility.

Utility, yes, but appearance wise? I'm glad they still added it.
I still also think that the reason why they haven't done it is due to technical reasons like performance, engine limitations and issues when 2 grids collide. It's obvious that they can do it, like in Medieval engineers, but Space Engineers is more complex and more performance hitting.
BUT I don't know :P

I got exactly what i expected from half blocks.....well very nearly

All i wanted em for was to have a 2block wide coridoor without the 3rd middle block to walk down. Also i love how i can have say a reactor, with a wall next to it and still have a walkway down the side.

The only thing thats missing and why i say nearly is the inverted slope and the corners so we can make em flow better :)

Yes they do have limited utility. What they lack is what many were asking for when this feature has been discussed numerous times i.e. the ability to place 2 halfsize blocks in a single 1 block space.

No, this is quite exactly what I was looking for. Sure, some more corner blocks would be appreciated, but I just wanted thnner blocks for detailing.

Wouldnt that make a full block again :P jk<

I thought that was called compund blocks? I didnt expect that from the half blocks :)

I think its been pretty well covered here, but yeah, I was talking about windows to match the 2x1x1 (not 2x2x1, sorry) slopes and corners. Not only just a 2x1x1 window, but a separate window for each of the blocks that make up a 2x1x1 ramp/corner. So a window for each of the slopes and slope tips, etc.

While I think these should all be in vanilla, I'd be happy to use a mod but couldn't find one. If any of you know of such a mod, please point me to it.
