How do you create a station?
I'm still new to this and I am still learning, And I can't figure how to make one

depending on your world settings it is simple

if you have unsupported stations enabled.. just place a big block were ever you want... thats the starting point for your station.

if you have unsupported stations not enabled do the same thing.. but this time place it in some solid material.. like an asteroid or simply the ground you are standing on.

than this also becomes the starting point for your station.

by the way.. welcome to the wonderfull world of space engineers... may lord clang approve many of your creations.

For my floating space stations I prefer to add Ion thrusters to avoid problems and I will be able to move it.

If I don't want a ''Floating'' station = I will build it on a asteroid :approve: :welder:

+1

For me its better to just use thrusters to keep it in place, then i can add jump drives and my base is now a mobile one. Saves long trips with miners and such, just find the asteroid and jump to it for mining :)
