Add waypoints in zero gravity near earth and moon. You'll be able to use them as jump targets.

First one must be outside the gravity field of the moon. Then point yourself at the Earth and do a blind jump. Your max distance is 2000 km. It might take you more than one jump. At the end of your journey you'll be told that you cannot jump the full 2000 km due to the presense of the Earth's gravity field. Just shorteng the blind jump distance accordingly and jump the final time.

Are you asking "How to activate the jump drive"?
The answer is find your jump drive in the 'G' menu and put it on your toolbar with the command Jump. Use whatever number you want, 1-9.

If your jump drive is set to blind jump [The jump drive settings is where you find it.] then it will "jump" as far as it can.

By the way if you have more than one jump drive, they will act together and increase the distance of the jump. They wiil also require more power to recharge them as well.

When activated a info box will appear with information and also the distance that you will jump. It will also ask you to confirm.

To find or make a GPS waypoint, you will find that tab [on the far right] of the 'K' menu.

But it drops the waypoint where you are currently at, or if piloting a remote drone, it will put one where the remote block is currently located.

If you're just going to Earth then just "blind" jump your way there.

Be sure to rename your newly created GPS markers (waypoints). I use them frequently to flag asteroids with the minerals they contain, so when I need to go refill my stockpile of, say... Silicon, then I look it up, turn on just that one waypoint, and fire up the engines.

Traveling long distance is much easier if you have jump drives and either have waypoints already set, or are comfortable with 'blind jumps'. Can always fire up the good 'ole Ion Thrusters while the Jump Drive is recharging. :)
This is why Keen needs to make tutorial missions again.

I really WOULD like a cool warp drive, though....
With big glowy/sparkly nacelles, and some neato-star-streaming effects?

OK, sure.... it'd probably take a Large Reactor per 250,000 kg of mass...

or maybe we can get some new reactor types?
Fission (I think that's the norm, based upon the fuel)
Fusion (would gobble up Hydrogen)
maybe some Anti-Matter (with large percentage of BOOMage if you bump into something)

But, still!! Would be friggin COOL!

just leave the game as is. I just wanted to know how to warp. There's another game called empyrion, this game works fine. I don't think they should change anything
