Welders need a large connector to pust many componants. A small connector would not be enough.
Same with grinders

Yea, it is intentionally done that way, components won't fit through small conveyor tubes.

nvm. i found a way. for thos ewho want to know. use a smallship medium container behind the welder then have small ship conveyors into that

welding and grinding require a large conveyor to actually have any usefulness.

key parts like steel plates'n stuff refuse to go through small conveyor sections.

not really. the welder i have works perfectly...
like i said. medium small container behind the welder lets me connect it. thats all i needed to know

True, a medium or large cargo container connected directly to the welder or grinder will work. The large conveyor tubes, which then become "medium tubes" on small ships will work also, with the bonus of being able to use conveyor tubes to match up any small gaps as needed.
