And Mars should be about 5 hrs away.

Just remember to put a gps point just outside earth gravity and one just outside moon gravity. Then you can jump back and forth after this scout mission :)

I'm crazy or it takes more time to make a complete fly around the planet?
something is wrong... or Im sleepy already...

the real question is, are all the sizes of objects in the game to scale of their real life counterparts?
Shroomworks Jul 8, 2017 @ 9:14am
IIRC the Moon is about 30 mins away from Earth, Mars about 5 hrs from Earth and the Alien Planet 15 hrs. You better pack a jump drive :D

it can be rough getting the JD made, but it cuts travel time down to just landing and leaving the atmosphere of either planet.

Speed Mods do not seem to work properly atm. Prob is, that above 200m/s, the ship starts to spin downwards (at least for me) uncontrollably. So for now, only reliable way is to use a jump drive.

For me, it's both. I've read from others who seemingly don't have any trouble, but most people experience the same issues as i do. Everything over 200m/s is basically suicide atm.

I spin upwards.

Kerbal isn't the Earth, or our Solar System...so there's that :)

Just get a speed mod. One I have gets rid of the speed limit completely.
