How do you eject items from a cargo container?
I have a cargo container connected to a connector. I set the connector to "Throw out", but nothing gets thrown out. If I place an item in the connector it throws it out, but it's not taking anything from the cargo container. I've also put a conveyer in between them, but that didn't do anything either.

As described by you, the connector would empty all the contents of the ship into space. Very few people want that.

Use a sorter block to "drain all" to move all stone in the cargo to the connector, for example. This will tend to fill the first connector on the other side of the sorter, and may not do what you want.

Another method is to use a programmable block and timer block to move inventory to the connector for dropping.

I used the program block to move all stone to an array of 10 connectors set to throw out.

Thanks. The drain all method works.
or perhaps try using an ejector instead of a connector... just a thought ;)

Ejectors can't shoot out large components, so I can't use it.
