Can a brother get some sunglasses? Seriously, while its a nice immersion effect.....they have got to turn that glare down. I really hope that they add some in game option to adjust it. What do you good people think?

I think there needs to be an in-game option to disable in the graphics settings instead of depending on a mod to get rid of this horrendous "feature"

It's been complained about a lot over on the forums, with people asking why the heck a disable option wasn't added or the lens flare exposed so peeps could tone it down a bit. I'm sure it will be added, but unfortunately as with everything in SE it will likely take a while.

I suggest a slider for flare intensity, to suit everyone.

I only like lens flares on 3rd person cameras. They make no sense in first person since it is an effect caused by light filtering through lenses. Lens flares do not occur in the human eye.

Pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much. But srsly, the new lens flare should look like it used to with the helmet down or when looking thru the blue glass from a station, ship, fighter cockpit and regular cockpit etc etc. Keep it but we should have the ability to filter it like real life

After seeing pictures of the lens flares in Empyrion - they've put them on engine exhausts too - i'm just happy that we have it only on the sun. That is all :)
