Unable to refill Hydrogen tanks through connectors.
I made a 2 stage rocket to get to space. Both stages are connected with a connector and mergeblocks to the support holding the rocket up on the launchpad. There is no connections between these stages internally after launch to prevent the first stage from taking fuel from the upper stage. But each stage has connector connection to the support holding it. (so basically all the fuel tanks are connected to the same conveyor system on the base through these).

This system is also connected to my hydrogen fuel storage. The problem is... I cant stockpile all the fuel from these tanks into the tanks in the rocket even tho they are connected through connectors. What the heck am I doing wrong? Cant you transfer hydrogen through connectors???

no, you can not. you can however put it in tanks and then transfer it that way

Are you sure on that? I don't touch hydrogen, but that sounds like the most stupid design decision I've seen. Apart from the upcoming ICE engine.

Yeah this sounds incredibly stupid...

The tanks on his ship, if connected to his base via conveyors and connectors, will fill with Stockpile turned on. Of course your BASE's tanks need to have stockpile turned OFF so they'll actually fill the ship's tank.

im using hydrgen engines all the time -> the vessel tanks can be fueled up via connectors -> you just set stockpile on -> on the vessel tanks, and stockpile off on base tanks -> if conveyor line is okay and connectors are green (aka connected) then the vessel should suck gass from the base assuimne there was some gas in the base tanks ofc.

Conveyor line is ok and doublechecked.
Tank on ship is stockpile on.
Tanks on base with stockpile off.
Stil dont work...

I can try for 1 last time or this game is bugged to hell.

Ok I have no clue anymore...

I checked again.
All tanks are connected to same inventory system.
Tanks with hydrogen with stockpile turned off at base.
Tanks on rocket without hydrogen stockpile on.
Only movement is possible between the tanks on the rocket.
No movement through the connector even tho it is greenlit for working connection.

Again. All inventories are connected.

well assuming the ownership is okay, and there are no conveyor sorters in the conv line between tanks i see no reason why it shouldnt work. i guees you could post the world on workshop - and post the link to it here - then we could investigate further..

Ok, Finally worked it out. The conveyors (at least the inputs) can only seem to go in the top and bottom, NOT the sides. Give that a try and hopefully it works for you.
