Am i the only one with the "turrets not working" problem?
The issue is simple. Turrets are not working anymore.
They don't shoot to enemy's, wile enemy's turrets (pirates turrets) still shoot...
I tried all my save and a few fresh ones, your turrets just does not fire wile anemy turrets seem to work normally... anyone else with this problem?

Are your turrets mod or vanilla?
My vanilla turrets work OK, but mod turrets do not move. And when I turn them on they decide to blow the hell out of my ship.

Vanilla turrets are acting funny with me. I have them set to target everything except for metors and I have a small ship drone attack and nothing. But about a few minutes before that they shot another drone down

Same here, my (vanilla) turrets also stopped turning in idle when a pirate came into the 800m targeting radius

I've just set up a small brawl between the two identical ships (with modded weapons). The pirate one started to shoot first. Then after some time my guns also fired. But. After both of them destroyed GRAVITY GENERATOR and CONNECTOR in the other ship - both of them stopped fighting against each other.

I tried placing vanilla turret - but it has the same problem.

They still attack meteors without problems.

But overall they are totally broken :steamfacepalm:

Hello same here in fact after a test it is only for smal ship, for the bigger ones it works fine both modded or vanilla turrets

For me large ones shoot only connectors and gravity generators. I didn't check small ships.

Myself and others have reported this on the Keen Bugs forum. This Turret problem cropped up after the latest major update which has created this and other game-play issues.

PS: I turned off everything that my Turrets used to defend against until they fix this stuff. You can manually use the Turrets, but that is not enough to prevent the Ai from chewing hell out of your base.

The entire ship is vanilla.
At the moment my turrets only fire to merge blocks, any other block is ignored, neutral or pirate.
Pirates instead work fine...ending up in all my stuff destroyed in survival...
Please devs... a little hotfix? :(

Same here. Since latest update, turrets will not shoot at anything, be it hostile, neutral or whatever. Nothing.
Plus all of a sudden AI pirates are spawning drones near my base like crazy. Gun one drone down and within 10 minutes 4 more will come.

I had that right after the update but a patch came out the next morning and my turrets worked fine. the barrels still fall off though.
