360 Wireless Controller - Not working
Hey,

Any suggestions? My controllers aren't even picked up in the game. They work fine in everything else.

I've tried disabling/enabling hid controller, but neither works.

Same here, any solutions would be awesome.

I figured it out. One of my other gaming devices connected (razer nostromo, in this case) took priority over the xbox 360 controller.

Click 'reasign controller' in the options for whichever respective player you want, and it will tie that player to that controller.

Make sure you've turned them on before you start the game.

Thanks - would be good to know if this problem is still persisting for anyone else?

I still cant make it work. Controller itself works, but Foul Play just doesnt see it. I tried to reassign it to Player1 or Player2, but with no luck - it asks me to press a button to assign controller, i do it, but nothing happens. Any ideas?

I have a problem with my xbox 360 pad going haywire when plugged in. It cycles madly through options (flicking uncontrollably between "Yes Please" and "No Thanks" on the controller config screen, making it impossible to to choose either on my own accord) and if I happen to hit A as the cursor lands on the "Start Game" buton (a game in and of itself!) my character dashes madly across the screen uncontrollably. It's like somebody's leaning over and nudging my thumbstick in one direction and refuses to let go. Renders the game practically un-beginnable and impossible to play if I ever do manage. Very disappointed :(

Running latest Windows 8.1 update and using xbox 360 pad.

Is there no fix for this? Beginning to feel like this is a wasted purchase.
Just had this happen and I'm glad at least to see I'm not the only one. When I press F1 while in the control set up options to 'reassign' (I think it is), it' s just that..nothing happens. Weird. Or maybe not. Don't see this issue shooting up to the top of any of the developer's to do lists.
For anyone that is still struggling with this (if the first fix listed here didn't work), just start up your game in Big Picture Mode. I tried 4 or 5 times from the regular client but it never saw my controller, started it in Big Pic mode and it saw it right away.

One last thing for you to try then (this has helped me on a few games):
Right click on my computer, and go to manage. Expand the 'device manager' section. Expand the 'human interface devices' and right click and disable the 'HID-compliant game controller'. Then, fingers crossed it will detect properly - weird how some games handle the xpad drivers.
