Difference between Full and Demo?
Just wondering what the difference is.
I think it's great that they put up a demo, but isn't it the same as the full version?

Tempted to buy it just because of how much potential the game shows and how much it has improved since I last saw it, though I'm reluctant as 2 similar projects to this that I followed and supported for some years shut down or went entirely inactive.

ATM there is no difference, but if you buy the game yet, you "prepurchase" it with a discount. Later only the full version will have all features.

I'll have to make a FAQ for this, answered it at least 4 times :P

The demo is the current full version of the game. Purchasing the game, means that you will still have access to the latest versions of the game, when we stop supporting (updating) the demo. Purchasing the game will also upgrade your account, and allow you to use our blueprint hosting system and expand the number of skins you can have uploaded to your account at once, when these features are done.

Basically, in its current state, there is no difference game wise between the demo and full. This is because we want people to have access to the current full version we have now, whilst in Alpha. We think people should be able to play for free an open alpha game, and have the option to purchase the game for when we are out of alpha. If you purchase the game now, it will be cheaper, as the price will increase as more features are progressively added. This will reward users who have supported us early in development.

Thanks for the timely replies, that cleared things up, I just hope it is clear to everyone else.

I've put a description about offering the full current version of the game for free, whilst in alpha, on our store page.

Hopefully, it's more clear now.

Haven't bought the game (yet, guess i will soon) and you guys are awesome.
Not only because of your work, but you guys brought back DEMO into early access.
Just wanted to say that. :)

Edit:
I will hearby declare you guys as customer friendliest team so far! (not an official award, but maybe something worth for the feels. ;) )

Thanks, we only thought it was fair.

As well as thanks for the award, we humbly accept.

Even a lot of triple A titles don't do Demos anymore. It's really quite sad since thanks to all the shoveware hitting the market these days players are even less likely to buy untested products because they have been burned one to many times.

This is how this game works. Try it for free. Most people who try it like it. They happily buy it because they exactly know that it´s awesome and the dev team simply deserves the money.

Much better than buy full price AAA title because of hype advertising. Game sucks.

Yeah I really wish more games would put out demos.
Thankfully though there are a lot of Let's Play's and reviews, but I prefer trying demos just to see if my computer can handle it adequately.
