[Solved] Mouse cursor off center or weird screen resolution issues?

Just go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\StarMade\StarMade
and open settings.cfg

change this:
G_FULLSCREEN = true //Fullscreen
G_WINDOWED_BORDERLESS = false //Borderless windowed mode

to this:
G_FULLSCREEN = false //Fullscreen
G_WINDOWED_BORDERLESS = true //Borderless windowed mode

???
Profit!

(I ran into this problem upon first install and launch, maybe these settings.cfg should become default?)

sure it does but not for the resolution of 4k monitor this fix helps just to use finally the options menu but not playable at all...

So what you're really wanting is UI Scale: https://starmadedock.net/threads/gui-scaling.7234/ I think the devs are working on something but it's not out yet... I'm just some person btw, not a dev

This solution helps only on 3840x2160. Below its a ususal window what makes the game close to unplayable.
On the resolutions below the max its without the this fix the same issue to hit even a button, cause the cursor isnt shown properly.
So the point of the cursor isnt the real position of it.
So you can hope you catch somehow blind the exit button.
Even the resolution of 1920x1080 isnt possible to use cause of this issue.

I understand, this will require the developers to consider higher screen resolutions to fix, you are right.
