Scanner Block Missing?
I don't appear to have a scanner, scanner computer, antenna or anything similiar in the inventory when I switch to creative mode. Was it removed?

Those are built into the new Power 2.0 Chambers.

Scanners, Jump Drives, and something else i can't remember all have basic level integration into the main ship now as a side-effect. To Boost effectiveness you will need a Recon Chamber for Scanners, and an FTL Chamber for Warp Drives.

Ugh, okay. I knew skimming the update was probably a bad idea. Thanks.

The antenna blocks are to remain I hope. I find them quite useful as an asthetic block.

I get this part - but how do you 'activate' the scanner? I built a recon chamber off of my main reactor - but it's still not clear to me how to turn it 'on' and scan a system....

Open the weapons panel (default 'G'). The scanner, jump-drive, and other systems will show up here. Assign them to a slot the same as other weapons (drag or select and press a number key).

The scanner activates a little differently now. Left-click once to start it charging, then right-click to scan.

The old school level of scanner can be accessed by adding a recon chamber to your reactor. you only need the first one, the rest are greavy, the computer no longer works, jump drive computers are also useless, the new chamber can also support auto charging and "multi charge" which is far better than any old chain drive used to be if you buff the range.
