Galactic conquest will have split screen but is not online

According to a reviewer who got early access to the game galactic conquest is not playable online, but is playable split screen co-op.

In the article it is stated:
“Speaking of Galactic Conquest… This is not a game mode that allows for online-multiplayer but can be played on Splitscreen during couch co-op”

I don't even know how it would work with two players against one another. The mode would need a major redesign to accomodate 2 players working separate from one another...

You could play it versus or co-op on consoles since day one, I assume it's the same here. It's literally just galactic conquest, but player 2 controls the enemy faction. You play on opposing sides in ground battles to see who wins.

Everyone has wanted MULTIPLAYER Galactic Conquest since the late 2000's. What an absolute joke it is to release an "updated version" (two new characters and some maps) without this feature... Everyone can just play the original 2005 versions of these games, get the exact same experience as they will with this bundle and save $15 in the process.... THe 2005 versions support 4k and 64 player multiplayer. There is NOTHING new with this release. Refunded. ADD MULTIPLAYER GALACTIC CONQUEST you nobs!
